access to microphone advance tab tone control sliders

In the Play Control with advanced options selected, when
I select the advance button under the microphone therein
is not only the mic boost but also tone control sliders.
Does anyone know how to gain access to these sliders?

I've yet to see a sound card that supports mike tone controls. Perhaps
Windows has support for them in the event that a sound card might someday
support them. In reality, there is very little need for mike tone controls
anyway.
