Access Run Time & Visual Studio 2000

I have Ms office 2000 Professional and Microsoft Visual Studio 2000
Enterprise edition installed in my computer.

I have made an access application .mde which I want to deliver to the users
who is not having MS Access installed in their computer.

By reading books I came to know that I have to make Mdb as runtime by the
help of Microsoft Developer OR Microsoft Visual Studio 2000 and then
distribute this application to user as mdb runtime.

As I mentioned above that I have visual studio installed in my computer,
please advise me steps in detail how to make the mdb as runtime so that I can
distribute to the users. I really dont any thing about using Visual studio
2000. Detail steps will be very helpful to me.

Thanking you all for the support.

There is a Microsoft Office Developer Edition which has what you are
looking for. It is *not* part of Visual Studio but was a separate
product all by itself. It is also not currently available for sale by
Microsoft or retailers.

You might be able to find it on Ebay. Or it might be a pirated copy.

In A2003 MS came up with Visual Studio Tools for Office (VSTO) which
may account for the confusion.
