Do you mean that you are dual booting your system?

yes, dual booting, one drive is c , the other is d. and i
pick which drive the want to access at the boot screen..
but how can i access my other o. express which has
different emails i want to access from the drive im on..

But do you have two different Operating Systems?

right now i have the same O.S.

then you are not dual booting. Why would you want to have two lots of
Outlook express email? Just have one folder with one lot of email. I'm not
sure what you are trying to acheive......

Do you mean you have two hard disks with a copy of the same OS on each?

TWO differnet hard disks one 120gb and the other is 160gb
i have the same operating system on each (xp pro) like i
said before when im on one drive my email will be
download from my server into the outlook express im
using but when i switch to my other hard drive and use
the other copy of outlook express the emails that i
downloaded on my other hard drive are not on this copy of
outlook express , so i was wondering how i can access my
other copy of outlook express that is on my other drive
without changing drives to see my emails..

But WHY have you got two lots of Outlook Express? I don't understand. Do you
have One copy of XP installed on C drive and ANOTHER copy of XP installed on
D drive? That is the ONLY way you can have TWO different copies of Outlook
Express.
I don't understand what you mean by "When I'm on one drive" and "when I'm on
the other drive"

Normal systems with more than one Hard Disk have the C drive as a master
and the D drive as a slave. Are you saying you have two Master Disks?

Go to the D: drive, find "D:\Program Files\Outlook Express\msimn.exe" (or
another path if you placed it differently.) Highlight that file
(msdimn.exe). Right click it and choose Copy from the menu. Now on your C:
drive, right click your desktop and choose paste shortcut.
That will place a shortcut to the OE program (that's on your D: drive) on
your regular C: desktop. This should do what you want.

To differentiate it from an OE shortcut for your C: drive you can right
click that D: drive OE shortcut and choose Rename. Rename it slightly so
you'll know it's for the OE program on your D: drive.

Change the location of the store folder. Use 1 folder on 1 HDD for both instances of OE. See www.tomsterdam.com for advice on changing locations.

And I am wondering the same as Gordon. Please explain what you are doing.

Your best course in this sort of case, provided you are using compatible
versions of OE (5/6) is to adjust the size of partitions that your
systems are in, and make an additional partition (or probably with two
physical disks to of them (that are shared by the two OSes - and
assigned the same drive letter from each. This will need using a third
party partition manager (Partition Magic 8 or bootitng) if you are to
retain the contents of the partitions you are re-sizing.

Then in each OE. take Tools - Maintenance - Store folder and Move the
folder onto one of those drives, using the same one for both systems
