Hello, I have read many messages concerning the access denied error and I
have done everything step by step and still can't get it to work. I have
changed the permissions on the registry as instructed, I have looked at the
log file, and even created a new account with admin priviliges. Can anybody
help me?

Hey Ramesh, I followed the instructions as indicated on the website, the
batch file finished sucessfully, and I tried it once more but gave me the
same access denied error, any other suggestions?

Bobie,

See here:

You receive an "Access is denied" error message when you try to install
Windows XP Service Pack 2 or Windows Server 2003 Service Pack 1:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/873148

Enable verbose logging and then you can see the actual registry key that's
causing the problem.
