Access 2007 Creating ADP (Access 2002 -2003 format)

I'm currently in the process of creating a new Access Data Project. I had
considered using Access 2007 and have done some basic tests.

I notice that when I create the .adp file from Access 2007 it shows that the
format is (Access 2002 - 2003 file format). Is there such a thing as an
Access 2007 .adp with a 2007 format? I'm testing with SQL Server 2005, does
that constrain the formats for the .adp? Will later versions of SQL Server
support newer .adp file formats?

Thanks.

You're not required to answer questions here. If you're just going to be a
smart ass move along.

I'm not being a smart ass-- ADP just works.

Maybe if you gave more specifics-- I guess I Just don't know what
you're looking for.
You're asking about newer versions-- are you implying that you want to
use an Access 2000 format ADP with Access 2007?

Yah-- I've never had a problem with ADP.

I'm not going to rephrase my question to fit your answer. If you can't
figure out what I am asking, don't respond.

There is no new format for ADP in Access 2007, only the old 2002/3 format as
you've already noticed and the version of SQL used doesn't constraint the
format of ADP. As to the future, who knows?

The official newsgroup for ADP is m.p.access.adp.sqlserver.

I'm not sure if you're being a smart ass or if you didn't read the questions.

Regretfully Aaron is considered to be a troll. We all would prefer
that he leave and never come back. He is not the typical poster in
the newsgroup.
