Accept meeting as "Free"

Anyone know a way to accept certain meeting requests where
the option for "Show time as" is set to "Free" rather
than "Busy"

I have a user who wants to do this for certain meeting
requests.

It needs to happen at the recipient end and accept
as "Tentative" is not an option as this still block out
the time on the calendar.

Anyone any ideas?

He could accept it as Tentative and then change it to Free. He might want
to give some thought, tho, to if he's really going to use the calendar and
accept meeting requests but NOT block off the time. I can only assume that
the meetings in question don't require his full attention/attendance?
Otherwise he runs a real risk of double-booking himself accidentally.

He is currently accepting the meeeting and then manually
changing it to free. We are trying to make this a one
step process as he does it many times a day.

I don't know any easy way to do that. If you're good at Visual Basic you
could probably write a macro that goes thru and changes the appointments to
Free.

Sounds like rather a hassle though - I'd reexamine why he wants them set to
free and see if there is a more logical solution.
