Abrupt ending

Just starting to use Movie Maker. I can't seem to find a way to fade out
the final frame and to fade out the music at the end of the movie.
Everything just ends abruptly. Any help anyone???

Right click on the video portion of the file in timeline view and select
fade out.
For the audio it's the same, right click on the audio portion and again
select fade out.

I faded out the video and the audio, but my audio still ends abruptly, with a
static-sound. Even after I save the file then playback. Is there anything
else I can do?

It worked for me. Did you right click the audio and check "fade out"?
