I tried getting latest update but when I go to system properties and click on Automatic updates it says. "The Windows Update Service is unavailable." What should I do?

Hi Hislady,
See if the following, from the Windows Update Troubleshooter, helps solve
the problem:

When attempting to access the Windows Update site you receive the following
message: The Site is temporarily unavailable

Problem Description:
When you try to access the site you receive a message informing you that the
site is not
available.


Resolutions:
You can resolve this issue by copying the iuident.cab file from Program
Files\Windowsupdate\V4 to Program Files\Windowsupdate\V4\Temp.


The Windowsupdate folder is hidden, so you'll have to ensure that your
Folder Options View is set to Show hidden files and folders.
