about email

help! i just created an email account but when i go to
log on to it, it says pop3 (My server) is not correct. my
email adress is right and my pword. So how do i change
the server?????
 
Contact your mail provider for assistance. You have at least one of the
settings wrong and only they can provide the correct information.
 
What e-mail program are you using.
Are you certain you have the correct POP3 and SMTP servers entered.
Do you have the correct user id as well as password.
