about audio

hello I cannot add audio files to my movie maker it always gives me an error
it is AN EMPTY FILE and it is not i play it on computer all the time
please help

thanks anyway still haven't been able to do anything, i was able to add the
same song in another movie i did, but now for some weird reason i cannot do
it still same message EMPTY FILE
