A1 Robo form safe uninstalling

D

Derrick Fawsitt

I have tried out A1 Robo Form as a programme to fill forms and as its
trial period has run out and I no longer want to subscribe to it how can
I un-install it safely. When I tried to do this via control panel it
warned me it would remove all my settings for My Documents etc., etc.,
this has me considerably worried so how do I safely do it>
I must say now that it appears to be every bit as intrusive as Gator and
it took me a long time to get rid of it, we live and learn.

Sorry for replying to my own post, (talking to myself), but I do need an
answer to the above badly and cannot understand why no one is prepared
to spare me a little time to enlighten me. Hopefully now this
embarrassing follow-up to my own post might persuade someone to help me.

This is a peer-to-peer newsgroup offering technical support for the
Windows XP operating system. If no one has replied to you, it is
probably because no one has the answer, or the people who do have the
answer aren't reading the group right now. Since A1 Robo Form is not
part of the XP operating system, if you need an answer right away you
should contact their tech support. I don't have an answer for you (if I
did, of course I would tell you) because I've never used that software.

Malke, my apologies, I got so frustrated with Gator that to have yet
another programme like it yet again cause me trouble by initially
apearing to be free and then indicating it had a limit to its use.
Now it warns me it is tied into a lot of my files and asks me do I want
to delete, or words to that effect.
Would you without expert advice?
I have tried to get in touch with their support without avail, hence
coming in here.
So sorry for and trouble I have given you.

Absolutely no trouble, Derrick. It's just that I wanted you to
understand why you were probably not getting any responses. Gator is
horrible spyware, no matter what Claria calls it. I have heard of Robo
Form, but have never used it. What you might want to do is 1) Google
for something like "safely uninstall Robo Form" or "how to remove Robo
Form"; 2) if you've only just installed Robo Form, use System Restore
to go back to a point before you installed it; 3) if that would be too
far back, make a new System Restore point now and call it something
like "before Robo Form uninstall" and then go ahead and uninstall it.

Be sure to scan your computer with a current antivirus using updated
definitions and do a spyware removal with Ad-aware and Spybot
afterwards. Let me know by posting back to this same thread if you need
any more help.

Hi Malke.

Just to let you know I found an uninstall on the Robo Form website and
it seems to have removed all and sundry.

Thanks again,
