A Question Involving Laptop Monitors

Ok, here's my question. I have a VGA box for my Playstation 2, that allows me
to hook it up to my flatscreen monitor. However, my recent monitor broke and
I was wondering if there's any way to connect the standard VGA into my
Toshiba Laptop. My cable that was used for the Monitor seems to have the same
port on both ends, and I'm going to guess that there's some sort of command
in the Control Panels that will allow me to use my Laptop monitor as an
external monitor for other devices. Where would this control, if existant in
any way, shape, or form, exist?

Unless your laptop has a video-in port (either VGA or S-Video), this is not
possible. Most laptops do not have any type of video-in; only video-out.

As previously posted, MaxiVista is an app that will allow you to use your
laptop as an external monitor via software. However, I doubt you'll be able
to run it on a Playstation.
