Prob'ly OT: Drive two monitors from laptop?

I don't really know where to go for this solution, so I thought I'd
ask here first because I know most of you have dealt with just about
everything!!

I have an older Dell Latitude laptop (one external standard monitor
port, no DVI). I know I can hook up one external monitor. Is there a
cheap and easy way to hook up two flat screen monitors that will
display the same thing? I've seen add-on boxes costing over $1400!
WIll a simple splitter cable work?

A splitter will only give you two screens showing the same thing. If
that is what you are after, then good.

Yah - two screens with same information. Glad to know there's a cheap
and easy solution!
