A program is try to send e-mail on your behalf...

Mark N.

When my users do mail merges with Outlook 2000, they are challenged with a
dialog box that says:

"A program is trying to automatically send e-mail on your behalf. Do you
want to allow this?"

They choose "Yes" but then when that particular piece of mail is sent, the
dialog comes back. One user sent 350 mail-merged e-mails today and it took
her 45 minutes because of the 350 times this dialog popped up. How can I
get this to stop?

Many thanks,
Mark

Office 2000 doesn't support HTML merges. The only way to get rid of the
prompts is not to use Office for the merge. There are plenty of good mass
mail tools available -- http://www.slipstick.com/addins/mail.htm#massmail
