I have a Dell Dimension 8200 computer with windows XP Pro installed. I have
six major data folders and each has about ten sub folders. When I am
reading emails or visiting web sites, I will save a copy of the desired
information and place the data in the applicable folders. Most times I can
remember which folders that I accessed and then make a backup to my second
physical hard drive before I shutdown the computer. However, some days when
saving a lot of files, I forget which folders that I accessed and so am
faced with the problem of guessing or no backup at all.
Are there any reliable programs available that will detect only changed or
new files and then accomplish a backup to a selected location? Sorry for
the newbie question. I checked for various backup programs but could not
find one that will only backup changed or new files. Thanks for any help,
Sam.
