I most likely will be around as I enjoy these webpages. I hang out at MS newsgroups quite a bit and ZDnet also. These pages are a good place to learn.
My computer is a new Dell XPS 720. Quad 6600, Nvidia 8600 and 4 GB RAM (only 3.5 show up). OS -- XP Media (wanted XP-PRO and actually purchased an OEM version). No vista for me. When I crash this (and I will--I always do) I will have it reloaded with XP-PRO.
