6T04 Network Adapter

C

My system is running normaly ; however , in device manager ,
there is an item ( 6T04 Network Adapter ) marked with an exclamation
point in a yellow box ( it says windows can't load the device )
By the way , when I choose show hidden devices , there
are 17 6T04 adapters ( 15 are OK and 2 have the exclamation point )
What is a 6T04 adapter ?? !! ?? !!! ??

As described in this Microsoft Knowledgebase article:

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/932520

you can safely ignore this message. Actually, that KB article refers to
ISATAP; but 6to4 is a IPv6-to-IPv4 conversion layer very closely related to
ISATAP. If you are not using IPv6 communications across IPv4 routers, you do
not need 6to4 enabled. It's pretty unlikely you need 6to4 ... if you did,
you'd definitely know about it!

Hope it helps,
