Network adapters issues

in my device manager, there seems to be a problem with the Network adapters,
the "6T04 Adapter" and as well as
"isatap.{56A09CCD-C4C7-4986-992A-773C4CBEB51A}". The
"isatap.{56A09CCD-C4C7-4986-992A-773C4CBEB51A}" is also down three times for
some reason. I tried to update the drivers and checked for solutions but no
luck so far =(. My "Intel(R) PRO/100 VE Network Connection" seems to be
working fine though. Can someone help me out with this problem, I'd really
appreciate it.

Are these entries related to any actual problem? Do they have a yellow "!"
exclamation mark against them?

If not, I'd just leave them alone. It sounds normal - these are
pseudo-adaptors, that help with IPv6 to IPv4 interoperability. They are
supposed to be there, one for each network interface.

In Device Manager, go to the View menu and de-select "Show Hidden Devices"
and they'll probably disappear.

If you're having an operational problem, please describe what isn't
working - thanks.

you can safely ignore this message.

6to4 is a IPv6 to IPv4 conversion layer very closely related to ISATAP. If
you are not using IPv6 communications across IPv4 routers, you do not need
6to4 enabled (you're almost certainly not using 6to4 ... if you were, you'd
definitely know about it!).

I don't think it will make any difference but, for what its worth, you can
try installing the latest Intel drivers, for your VE network card from here:
http://support.intel.com/support/network/sb/cs-006103.htm

Note that Intel ended support for the PRO/100VE in April 2007. That's not a
problem; except that no-one will be producing any further new drivers for
this card, apart from what is already in the latest drivers.
