If xp 64 bit windows does not have media player what can
I use instead or how can I use Media player?

Start/AllPrograms/Accessories/Entertainment/Windows
Media Player. Click the icon and WMP should come up.
You can also rightclick it and click "create shortcut to
Desktop" for easier future use. If it doesn't work, copy
and paste below URL to your browser and troubleshoot it
by scrolling down to "Media Player":
