Media player 11

I have been having problems with ripping my cds I use windows xp and have
media player 11.
I always manage to rip one CD when that is finished and try to do another
the media player freezes and the message is media player is not responding
what I have to do then is reboot the computer and start again then I am
allowed to rip another CD.
I have tried uninstalling the player then installing again. but after
ripping one cd I always have to reboot the computer.
Any help will be appreciated and thank you in anticipation

I am also having the same problem!! In addition, when I hit restart on my
computer it shows "mmjb.exe is not responding" I then must hit "end now" so
my computer can restart. I am forced to restart my computer because even
if I exit Media Player, nothing else on my computer will respond either. I
too have Windows XP service pack 3 and Media Player 11. Is there anyone who
has any idea how to remedy this? Thank you so much!

Hello,

MMJB seems to refer to MusicMatch Jukebox, if you don't use it, uninstall it
and see if the problem persists.

You could use this freeware : http://cdburnerxp.se/

Dump MMJB, its trouble in that it doesn't like co-existing.

YES! Thank you soooo much for your help!! I uninstalled MusicMatch Jukebox
and I can now play and rip more than one CD in a row and no problems with it
freezing up! I am very gratiful to you!

You guys should contact the MMJB people and advise them of the problems you
are/were having.....Give them a chance to correct it.........
