Basically depends on if you prefer AMD or Intel, I buy most of my stuff from
ebuyer.co.uk, they supply 64 bit processors for both then its a case of
finding a matching motherboard, the motherboards are user rated on this site,

I have a AMD FX53 that works very well with a A8V MOBO. I believe Asus
now has a MOBO that supports PCI-Express. I would go that route over
AGP. I would stay away from Intel processors, unless they have
developed a true 64 bit processor--I have not seen any posts to support
that.
hi uve prob have got your board and everything now but i just want to say if
you havent got them yet ill deffinately look into getting a gigabyte GA K8NS
or the gigabyte GA k8NS pro i have one of these in mine cost me about £60 but
it is the best bored for that money i think and im running a amd 3400+ and i
havent had no prob wot so ever.
