I get a message when I try to download fixes.The message
is (Setup could not verify the integrity of the file
update.inf. and Make sure the crytograhic service is
running on this computer)
Can you help me clear up this problem?Or do you know of
someone that can?

When trying to install a Windows Update (823980), the following error
occurs:
"Setup could not verify the integrity of the file Update.inf. Make sure
the
Cryptographic service is running on this computer"

The Crytographic service is already running.

- Start->Run->"cmd"

- run the following commands:
- "regsvr32 softpub.dll"
- "regsvr32 wintrust.dll"
- "regsvr32 initpki.dll"
- "regsvr32 dssenh.dll"
- "regsvr32 rsaenh.dll"
- "regsvr32 cryptdlg.dll"

The update then installed successfully.
