32>64 Anytime Upgrade

BChat

I purchased Windows Vista Home Premium DVD and installed it. Sometime later,
using the Anytime Upgrade, I upgraded to Windows Vista Ultimate. Both are
the 32 bit version. Using this method I have the Ultimate key, but no DVD.
Is there a way to get an Ultimate DVD in the event I want to try the 64 bit
version.

TIA

I have two copies of 32 bit Vista Ultimate version.
One used only the other will be used eventually.
I might swap it for a 64 bit version.
Strangely enough there is only ONE version of Vista
included in my packages.
What's the charge for ordering 64 bit version?
Is there any special "upgrade price" ?

The RETAIL package for Vista Ultimate includes the x64 and x86 DVDs (the
big black plastic box version)
If you have an OEM the x86 DVD you will have to order the alternative media
from the link I provided.
The cost of the alternative media is something like $10 (USD) (it various
from country to country) but is just about the cost of the DVD plus shipping

Thank you for information. Indeed I have OEM 32 bit versions both copies.
As I'm in the UK - when I phoned the MSoft - I was told that they don't do
sale.
I got from them the tel no. but it's wrong. BTW that was "the outsourced
centre".
I probably knew more on the topic than the "centre"...
I'll try again tomorrow.

Thanks -

Stop calling Microsoft
Microsoft UK do not SELL software direct to customers
You go to the link I provided - here it is again
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsvista/2057/ordermedia/default.mspx
and fill in the on screen details after you answer the first drop down
"Please choose a ship-to country:" - Select United Kingdom.
Then press "Order Now"

This really is not that hard..
