Vista Anytime Upgrade question

Robert M. Lincoln

I just ordered the Anytime Upgrade DVD (Home Premium to Ultimate).

If, in the future, I purchase a new system or hard disk, can I just
use my Anytime Upgrade DVD (Home Premium to Ultimate) to install the
OS?

I don't mind having to put the Home Premium DVD in the drive to check
to see if I have it. I just don't want to install Home Premium, and
then Ultimate install using the Upgrade DVD.

In other words, can I get a clean install of Ultimate using the
Anytime Upgrade DVD?

Thanks

No. You would have to first install the original Windows Vista
edition, then perform an upgrade to the next Vista edition.
