2nd window opens minimized

IE 6.0, clicking on a link which opens a 2nd IE window,
opens minimized.

Is this a known bug?

How can I make it so that all windows open maximized?

Stretch that second window out to the desired size- don't use maximize.
Close other IE windows. Close that window last.

It seems that a number of us are having the same problem.
Here's what I was told.
Stretch that second window out to the desired size- don't
use maximize.
Close other IE windows. Close that window last. You may
have to redo this
periodically.

Also try holding the CTRL key down as you close the last
window.
