2000 to 98 via crossover

Hello,

I've linked two laptops via crossover cable.
They are normally part of the same domain when connected through
the server, but they don't see each other when connected directly.

Any ideas?

Make both computers members of the same workgroup. The
user account for the win2k machine must be duplicated on
the win98 machine - then you will be able to map drives
etc.
