I had a problem with XP.
I tried to repair the install.
This did not work, so I tried to re-install.
I saw that when my system started up it asked me to choose
the OS... they are both Windows XP Home.

Basically... I have an install in /Windows and in /Winnt.

I only need and want one install. :)

How do I delete, uninstall or remove one of them ?

Whatever I need to do is fine all my files are backed up.

Quick and dirty?

Look at the boot.ini file and remove the entry for the install you DON'T want (this
will remove it from the boot screen). Then reboot into the other install. Once in
Windows, you should be able to delete the unwanted folder.

If you have any data or apps installed into the unwanted folder, you will loose them.
If a file is in use, you have something installed there.

Thank You for the response :)

That does sound "Quick and dirty". Is there another method
or addition to this for perhaps a cleaner removal ?
