Win XP installation problems

I am trying to install Win XP Pro in dual boot system on second SATA HD. The
HD is Seagate Barracucda ST 3320620AS. The HD is visible in my primary OS
(Win XP Home). After the reboot during the installation I ge t error:
"ntoskrnl.exe missing or corrupt" . The 2 lines in boot.ini refering to the 2
OSes (windows XP Home and Pro) read:
multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(1)partition(1)\WINDOWS="Microsoft Windows XP
Professional" /noexecute=optin
multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS="Microsoft Windows XP Home
Edition" /noexecute=optin /fastdetect
The rdisk(1) refers to the second HD. Both OSes are on the first partition.
Am I missing something here? Thanks, Jakub

Youre trying to install xp pro onto a new SATA drive & xp home is already
installed on other SATA drive...If so,simply disconnect the 1st SATA with
home on it (physically),have new SATA installed, install xp pro cd,boot to
xp pro cd,press F6 if you need SATA controller drivers (most do),then at xp
boot info screen select install xp,new copy...Once xp is installed, replug
in other
SATA drive.XP will not install correctly if ever another hd is running
unless its
a RAID configuration...
