2 weeks and it's gone.

While I applaud Ms in their attempts to address the issue
of spyware\malware\adware, the simple fact is, they are
taking entirely to long to add known definitions to the
program. There is spyware that has been out for months
that isn't even found. I know this is Beta, but for gods
sake give us some daily updates. Adaware SE and Spybot are
the biggest competition to MSAS and are far superior in
every manner. There is no need for this. Even a Beta
release should have daily updates, unless of course the
developers are only allowed an hour a day to look at known
issues and add defs to it. I've had this since it's
release and now it's getting to the point that the program
is just taking up system resources for nothing. The only +
for this over all other similiar programs is the real time
scanning. I'll give MS another 2 weeks and then it's going
in the trash and will become "not recommended" on the NG's
I give advice on. Including the MS Public NG's. TTFN.

It should already be "not recommended" IT'S BETA! People who aren't
experienced with testing software should NOT be running it. If this is some
kind of "threat," it's pretty much pointless.

I believe that they are updating often. The main issues are to get the
program running right and I believe using your other tools should continue.
I don't expect it to be perfect every day at this time only 10 days after
release.
