This is a long confusing problem that nobody I know can help with.

I was on the computer a couple nights ago when a box came up that sai
"Windows will shut down in 60 seconds. Close all programs and save you
work."

After windows shut down I restarted and all I get is a black scree
with the cursor. The cursor moves fine but ctrl+alt+delete doe
nothing. I tried to start on safe mode but the same black screen but i
says 'safe mode' in the corners.

I tried boot disks and nothing happened.

Next I hooked my drive up as a slave on another computer and the driv
shows up. But when I tried to go into my drive (D:) it would let m
access all the users in D:Documents and Setting except 'Bobs.BOB'
'Bobs.BOB' is where all my pictures and school papers and all thos
things are.

Next I tried to reinstall Windows onto the D: drive but could no
figure out how.

Next I installed Windows 2000 and then installed XP pro over that.

So now I have 2 versions of Windows XP. One will boot and the othe
will not.

Any help with any of this is appreciated. Thank you
