16 bit Windows Subsystems

Dave

Help!!! I've recently tried to install two different
games onto my computer, in both cases I get ane error
message
16 Bit Windows Subsystem
C:|windows\system32\autoexec.nt
The system file is not suitable for runnig MS-DOS and
Microsoft Windows applications. Choose 'Close' to
terminate this application.

Can anyone help me load these programs or is this
impossible using Windows 2000 Pro.
