100% CPU Utilization

I am using Word 2002 sp3. When I open large files (the ones I have tested are
over 4mb), Word goes to 100% CPU utilization about 1 minute after I open the
document and stays there. I have to kill the process in task manager. I have
plenty of memory (512mb - only 20% in use). I have turned off spelling and
grammar checking. I have no problems with my other Office Apps. Any
suggestions??
