After downloading music, my system is almost at a
standstill. CPU usage is at 100% even though I have only
one application open. Task manager shows approx. 50
processes running and one of them, SYMPROXYSVE.exe is
taking up most of the CPU usage, leaving virtually
nothing for the other programs/processes. What can I do
to fix this situation?
I've defragmented the hard drive and scanned for viruses
with Norton Antivirus. None found after downloading
their most recent update. I've run SpyBot to eliminate
parasites. None of this has helped.
