Hallo NG!
WindowsXP/HE SP2, OfficeXP/Pro SP3, CPU 2800Mc, 1G Ram
Right-clicking a file of any type in explorer takes 10 seconds minimum
to show the context menu. Is that normal?
Exceptions are *.bat, *.exe. They and right-clicking a folder are fast
(in a second)
Also deleting a marked file per del or shift+del takes its time .
I am constantly watching the processes (~21) via taskmanager. These are
all well known and most of the time idle is by 99%. A rightclick
activates explorer and gives 1% CPU load for less of a second.
Ideas? Thanks!
