10 secs min to context menu

Hallo NG!
WindowsXP/HE SP2, OfficeXP/Pro SP3

Right clicking a file of any type in explorer takes 10 seconds min to
show the context menu. Is that normal?

OK, autoexec.bat is fast (in a second)
It comes with: Open, Edit, Print and so on ...
i.e. C:\boot.ini (> 10 s) comes with
Open, Print, Analyse with FileAlyzer, Scan with AVG, Open with...,
Transfer with WS_FTP
I am constantly watching the processes (21) via taskmanager. These are
all well known and most of the time idle is by 99%.
CPUspeed is 2.8G.
