10 seconds to boot from cd

When you boot from a cd, you've get 10 seconds to "press any key to boot from
cd".
Does anybody know if you can change the time interval?

For example: Change it to 3 seconds.

I believe that it's not adjustable unless you create your own custom copy of
the CD.

There may be a parameter for this in the BIOS setup for your computer.
It is not a Windows setting. This boot drive selection happens
before any part of Windows is loaded.
