10 PC's to be networked: am I OK with XP home?

I have to supply someone with 10 PC's.
They want to have the machines networked.
Is there any reason why I would need XP Professional over XP Home?
Can I network 10 PC's with XP Home?
What limitations are there with XP Home?

Are the 10 workstations expected to share files and printers with one
another? By design, WinXP Home is limited to a maximum of 5
simultaneous network connections. WinXP Pro is limited to a maximum of
10 simultaneous connections.

In addition to the limits on connections already mentioned, it is much
easier to set file permissions with Pro. With Home by default everyone has
permissions to use shared files. With Pro you can easily set a file so some
people have permissions and others don't. It is also much easier to use
groups with Pro. Home is very limited in it's networking support.

You will need a server OS. Windows Server, Linux, Solaris, Mac OS/X Server,
FreeBSD, Novell Netware, there are many to choose from. Windows XP Pro is
designed and marketed as a workstation OS to be used to connect to a server.
It has some peer to peer networking capabilities. Once you are past 5 or 6
computers peer to peer becomes increasingly harder to administer. If you are
very careful with how many computers are connected at the same time you
could get away with one Windows XP pro machine setup as a workgroup "server"
but it is not the best way to go. If you use mapped network drives you may
start encountering problems with connecting to the server.

you also can't use domains with home. I'd go for pro everytime, why
have silver when you can have gold?
