hi, all

anyone know how to get a palm treo 650 to sync to 2 pcs? one pc
connects to an exchange 03 server using outlook 03. the 2nd pc is at
home running outlook 03 with personal folders. Problem seems to be the
palm will only allow 1 MS profile per PDA. My attempts so far have
created duplicates of everything which is not what i had hoped for...

Is that Treo a Windows Mobile device? If so, ActiveSync should allow it. I
sync my PDA to two differnet PCs. When you create the partnerships, you
tell it that you'll be synching on two PCs.

Hello Ken,

This is Kevin from Palm. I'm sorry I can't be of much help regarding
details, as I do not use Outlook. But perhaps the Palm knowledge
library article "Synchronize with multiple handhelds or with multiple
desktop computers" can be of help:
http://www.palmone.com/cgi-bin/cso_kbURL.cgi?ID=29452
Under the heading "One handheld device, two Macs or PCs (or a
combination thereof)" you'll find that the key to avoiding duplicates
is in how the conduits are set.
Hope that some some help.

Sincerely,
Kevin

It's a palm device, not a windows device. I think i'm out of luck as
everything points to the issue of a palm device only allowing 1
profile. I'm not sure if windows devices allow this or not, but i can't
take this one back so i'm stuck trying to figure out a way ;-(

hi, paul

thanks for your reply. I think my problem is that i want to use the
outlook program at home to enter data and then sync to the palm as i do
at the office. I guess the answer is that this isn't possible, but i
can use my home PC syncing as a backup of my data. Looks like i have no
choice but to live with the fact that i cannot use 2 outlooks on 1
palm.
