Sync with Laptop

Jim Benson

I want to sync, or at least copy, the Outlook data file with my desktop. I
would like to sync everything but email which I just want access from my ISP
server and not download to the laptop.

1. Is there sync software to accomplish this over a wireless network. I use
the sync software with a Treo 650 phone/PDA and it works fine. The software
is a Palm product. In the past I have synced a Pocket PC PDA with MS
ActiveSync 3.8. Is this adaptable to the laptop? Can I sync things like MDB
and DOC files with this or other software. It is important that this sync is
compatible with the Palm sync software, in other words doesn't interfere

2. If the sync software option is not available, how would you copy the
desktop Outlook data file without the email messages?

Thanks,
Jim Benson
