0x80004005 license error

I've been searching the whole day for a fix to the 0x80004005 license error.
I've searched the KB, no help. I went on Google and searched, and nothing. I
was trying to change the product key by a registry file I made, and it
screwed up the computer. Now I can't login, and I have to fix the problem
before 5 today. I can't start up in Safe
Mode, and Last Known Good doesn't help, either. I can't run System Restore
via a command prompt in BartPE, and manually launching it results in no
effect. There is Internet access, however. Also, the computer and any other
computers in this building do not have an i386 folder, and I don't have
access to a XP CD. Can anyone help?

See the thread earlier (12:01 PM) by (e-mail address removed) on this same
issue, or are you the same person? If your not, see the reply by PA Bear.
It has the resolution. If you are the same, or closely associated with
him, there is no point in posting the same question multiple times. PA Bear
gave him (you) the solution.

Smells like the same OP to me, Rock. <eg> The 2 initial posts are just too
similar...

</paste>

....but here, he admits to trying to fudge WPA or WGA.

OP's earlier posts were made via Google Groups so the IP could be identified
(SBC/Plano, TX). Now he's posting via the MS web interface.

As suggested in a reply to an earlier thread of yours, buy and install a
non-pirated version of WinXP.

Yep, I agree it's probably the same, and I think you were right on too.
Otherwise he wouldn't have come back like that.
