On start up get "A problem is preventing Windows from accurately checking the license for this computer. Error Code 0x80004005/ Can anyone assist?? Please advise. Thx.

I am having the same issue, and I see the fix microsoft has, but I d
not know what you are suppose to rename the files as. Here is wha
they say...
# Type cd %SystemRoot%\System32, and then press ENTER.
# Rename the following files by using the REN command. To do so, follo
this syntax:
REN file_name.extension file_name.old
* Wpa.dbl
* Pidgen.dll
* Actshell.html
* Licdll.dll
* Regwizc.dll
* Licwmi.dll
* Wpabaln.exe
I see the file names, but if these are the new filenames what are th
old? OR do we type ren wpa.dbl wpa.dbl?
Sorry been having this issue since yesterday, but not sure where i
came from. I have been up all night and very annoyed.
Had to reinstall, and I was also getting the "getiums could not be b
located in the dynamic link library msdart.dll".
I was able to get past this by just waiting, but now the 0x8000400
error will not let me log on under any profiles. A defult one wil
load up sometimes. Other times I have to restart and it will giv
another windows error. I had this one also 0xc000012d and it woul
stay on one of the pics I have used before as a desktop. No icons o
taskbar shown.
Other error codes I have had since this started x080090019 an
0x80040057. I am not computer illiterate, but I think I have reache
my knowledge. I think I understand the issue, but I can't resolve it
All this started after my system froze when I was burning a data cd.
I did remove the cdrw earlier to clean the lens, but the system wa
working fine for a few hours. I did burn 5 other cd's withou
problems.
I just really want to know all I have to do. Thanks and sorry for th
convoluted post, really tired

I do believe you rename them like this
Wpa.dbl to Wpa.old
