winnet.exe error

Often, but not always, I get the following message when
shutting down:

winnet.exe - DLL initiation failed
the application failed to initialize because the windows
station is shutting down.

I have no idea what this means. Rarely, it prevents my
computer from being able to shut down and I have to
restart by pressing the button.

I don't know what winnet.exe is.
Do I need winnet.exe?
Should I delete it?

Get rid of it immediately:
winnet - winnet.exe - Process Information

Seems to be a spyware/adware program, nice long thread

I would download and run 'adaware6 - www.lavasoft.de'
and 'skybot search and destory - http://www.safer-
networking.org', update before running.
