Windows Messenger 5.0 no longer offered?

Hello,

I noticed that the main messenger webpage at
http://www.microsoft.com/windows/messenger/ no longer offers Windows
Messenger 5.0. Messenger 4.7 is back as the most "current release"?

anyone know why? is there a problem with 5.0? is 5.0 still supported
and 100% functional with Windows XP?

Just found this kind of curious.
Btw, this has nothing to do with MSN Messenger (i realize there was,
and still is, a current version MSN Messenger 5.0).

I downloaded Windows Messenger 5.0 and received the same one that I had version 4.7 !!! Strange.
