Messenger 5.0 and Outlook XP

Does Windows Messenger 5.0 integrate with Outlook XP the same as the 4.7
version? I am running Windows XP professional and Office XP Professional.
I know that MSN Messenger 6 does not integrate with Outlook, but I was going
to update to Windows Messenger 5.0 if I do not lose the integration.

Yes it does, the integration should be exactly the same as in the previous version of Windows
Messenger.

Just a sidenote, MSN Messenger does integrate with Outlook 2003 however.
