Messenger 4.7 vs 5.0

I was having problems with Messenger 4.7 and removed it using Add/Remove
Programs as well as the RUN command that was posted on this forum.
Messenger removed without any problem. Instead of reloading 4.7, I loaded
5.0. Everything seems to be running ok. After reading another post about
the differences between 4.7 and 5.0, I'm wondering if I should have loaded
4.7. I would appreciate it if someone could help me with this. If I should
be on 4.7, do I just uninstall Messenger 5.0 using the same process I
described above and reload 4.7? Thanks for your help.

Greetings Bill,

The only thing you're missing with 5.0 is Add-In support (so no support for MSN Hotmail, MSN
Mobile, etc.). 5.0 actually does include some features that 4.7 doesn't have, including
UPnP-enabled file transfer, handwriting and a few other features. 5.0 should be perfectly
find if you don't want the MSN functionality.
