What happens if I switch to WM 5.0 from MM 6.1?

I am currently working the latest builds from MSN MESSENGER & MESSENGER PLUS

What happens if I uninstall MSN Messenger 6.1 and install Windows Messenger
5.0 instead? Would I lose some of the functionalties I had previously? I am
recently getting problems with MSN MEssenger 6.1, and I am wondering if the
earlier problems with Windows Messenger 4.7 has been cleared out in Windows
Messenger 5.0 and is now more stable, more features, etc.

Any info is greatly appreciated, especially from those who have tried it!

Greetings Ahmed,

If you switch from MSN Messenger 6.x and use Windows Messenger 5.x, you'll lose the MSN
Messenger 6.x "Webcam" support (not to be confused with the 'Start Camera' option in Windows
Messenger), MSN Profiles, MSN Hotmail, MSN Mobile, Games support, skins/backgrounds, and
built-in logging (although Messenger Plus will retain its logging functionality in Windows
Messenger). Otherwise, everything else should be the same.
