As near as I could make it out, the question "quallyna" asked is how to get
rid of unsent messages in the Outbox. How does my response not answer that?

To be sure, newbies often ask the wrong question, and it may take several go-arounds
to get at the real problem.

Most of the time a failure to send is accompanied by an error message.
Right-click on your error message, copy, then paste it into a reply here. We can't do
much troubleshooting without the complete error message.

right sided corner. Will this interfere with other messages being sent or

If you double click on the error icon it will show what the error was and then you can try and rectify it.

Go to your outbox and View | Current View | Show all messages and delete the messages that are there.
