Where is the Run command line in the start up menu?

Never really thought about it until now. I need to run an application from
the run command. But when I clicked on the start button. The command line
is nowhere to be found. Am I missing something here?

Go to properties of the start menu and select customise then advance, you
can select to show the run command there.

Is this your home computer or office computer? If it is your office
computer then i guess the system administrator must have enforced a
group policy that prevents users from having run option.

Thanks,
Hetal.

As has already been noted, you can add the Run box to the Start menu in the
Taskbar and Start Menu Properties sheet. You can access the properties sheet
either through Control Panel or right clicking the Start button and selecting
Properties from the menu that pops out.

If you're unable to access Run through your Start menu, hit the Windows key and
the R key at the same time. The Windows key is located between the Ctrl and Alt
keys.

Good luck

You're welcome. Thanks for taking the time to let us know you were able to add
the Run box to your Start menu.
