Video Conf. problem *NOT* a "webcam" problem.....

MSN 6.2 on both sides.

I have a webcam. He doesn't.
He uses a digital camera hookup and uses the Video Conferencing for
"Camming" over MSN.

He sees me perfectly clearly. He sees himself clearly. Not so with me.
Under "Video Conference", even my own video is a little buggy:
Even though he sees me clear as day, to me, my cammed image is very
"optimized"/fuzzy and horizontally flipped. His camera "box" is open, yet I
just see black. - On his end he sees boths cams perfectly. Apparently I am
the only one on his list who can't see him.

(I've exhausted "router" and "firewall" possibilities already)
Any ideas?

One extra thing:
I should point out that using "webcam" instead of Video Conference - works
just fine, for me anyway. but his digital camera setup won't allow for
streaming as a "webcam" option, so we need to figure out how to get the
Video Conf option to work.
