I have unsent messages in my outbox. I get an error message regarding the
POP3 or something like that. What could the problem be?

Same way you delete messages from your In-box.
Open Out-box, and start deleting.
Or, are you saying you are unable to do so ?

this did not say what to do about the problem,or how to delete the
messages,it is very agravating seeing this info and no way to resolve it.
Some instruction would be helpful

The relevant instruction for you is to create a new thread (discussion or
whatever) describing your problem, including relevant details.

The message you replied to is a reply to a very old message. I don't see the
original message. Note that the replies are just text from the message being
replied to; there is nothing in the messages except the previous text. From
my experience, there is a bug in Windows Mail that causes phantom replies
such as that. in other words, whoever posted the replies was not even aware
of doing that. Your criticisms won't accomplish a thing; nothing.

If you want help, describe your problem in a thread you create.

I have Vista and cannot send pix from my e-mail. I can delete the stuck
message but need to know how to download and install a new program that works.

Do you get an error message when you try to send? If so,
right-click on your error message, copy, then paste it into a reply here.
We can't do much troubleshooting without the complete error message.

Back in 2007, I had this issue and I am intrigued that this post has gone on
for more than two years. I also noticed that you were part of the discussion
in 2007.

As such I have since solved my problems with this and I wonder if there is a
way that you can get the word out in broadcasting way.

Someone suggested that I set up a gmail account. I did so just for this and
use that as my smtp for outgoing mail. My regular ISP is my incoming account.
For the most part I have had no trouble. Occasionally I see things getting
stuck,
but that may be more a function of my computer itself, which is six years
old.

Because the outgoing emails are really coming out of gmail, they will stay
in the
sent box in gmail, as well as in my Outlook sent box. I go in every now and
then and clean out the gmail outbox, since I already have them saved in
outlook.

Hope that helps.

The problem is that many people respond to threads instead of creating new
threads. That is the cause, or partial cause of the recent activity in this
thread.
